If you're using a RugSimple generated Website, it's using WordPress CMS along with the WooCommerce e-commerce engine. Most of your website settings, layout and content is editable through your WordPress dashboard. Simply go to: yourwebsite/wp-admin.

You will then be prompted for a RugSimple username and password to access your WordPress Dashboard. This will be a special admirative username and password to access your WordPress Dashboard. (Note: You may have to fully sign out of your app in order to clear your cached username and password for you app).

If you are unfamiliar with the WP Dashboard, you may want to consult a WordPress professional for any major website changes or design.

There are a number of settings that are controlled directly from your RugSimple app, This is for those settings that my change frequently or immediately. If you make edits to any of these areas directly in WordPress, you may end up breaking the connection between your App and WordPress.

Here is a breakdown of settings and content controlled directly from you App

Company Name - Your Company name is generated when you sig up for RugSimple. This is passed through to the WordPress platform.

Logo - Your logo is also updatable by your app (theme permitting). See this post on Changing your Company Logo.

Privacy Policy Text - The default text in your privacy policy is there as a template and can / should be changed to suite your own policy.

Purchase and Return Policy Text - The default text in your Purchase and Return Policy is there as a template and can / should be changed to suite your own policy.

Rental Policy Text - The default text in your Rental Policy is there as a template and can / should be changed to suite your own policy.

E-commerce mode

E-commerce vs. Gallery Mode - E-commerce activation will add “cart, account, checkout” to your secondary menu.

Gallery Mode - “Gallery Mode Text” displays custom text in the product page
